Procedure to Prepare Vadalu or Garelu Recipe:

Step 1: Take a bowl pore water and soak the black gram overnight in the early morning drain the water in it and wash it for one time and keep aside.

Vadalu or Garelu Recipe IngredientsStep 2: Firstly wash and chop the onions and green chilli into medium size and set aside in a plate.

Step 3: Take a mixer and add soaked urad dal and add one cup of water to it and grind it very well and make a thick paste then transfer the prepared urad dal batter into a bowl and set aside.

Vadalu or Garelu RecipeStep 4: Now take a bowl add prepared urad dal paste and add chopped onions, green chili, and add required amount of salt as per taste and blend it very well everything then keep aside.

Step 5: Take a heavy bottomed vessel and add oil for deep frying heat if for one minute in medium flame.

Step 6: Now take a cover applying water to hand and take 2 tablespoons of prepared batter and each time make a hole in the centre of the gare drop the prepared gare into the hot oil fry it both sides till it gets golden color.

Step 7: Try and serve this south Indian famous garelu recipe along with chicken curry or ginger pickle and enjoy the tasty of this recipe.
