Instructions to Prepare Pomelo Pickle:

Step 1: Firstly wash pomelo and chop into medium size. Set aside.

Pomelo Pickle IngredientsStep 2: Heat a pan add poppy seeds fry till it gets the golden brown then transfer it into a plate and allow it to cool then take grinder add fried poppy seeds grind it well and make a fine powder.  Keep aside.

Step 3: In the same pan pour oil add cumin, mustard, black gram, Bengal gram, fenugreek seeds and dry chilli roast it for about 5 mintues in normal flame set aside and cool it.

Step 4: Take a mixer add fried ingredients grind it well and prepare fine powder set aside.

Step 5: In the same pan pour oil and add chopped pomelo fry it for about 10 minutes in medium flame. 

Pomelo Pickle RecipeStep 6: And add the grated jaggery add required quantity of salt and prepared powders mix all the ingredients very well together and turn off the heat.

Step 7: Meanwhile prepare seasoning to the pickle now take a pan pour oil add cumin,  mustard, slightly crushed garlic cloves and few curry leaves fry it for 1 minute in medium flame and add pomelo pickle to this seasoning mixture then mix it very well together and cook it for about 5 minutes in medium flame. Then turn off the heat. 

Step 8:  Try and Serve this pomelo pickle food recipe along with steamed rice or curd rice or idli or dosa.
