Directions to Prepare Spicy Bottle
Gourd Curry:
Step 1: Firstly peel
the bottle gourd cut in medium size take a bowl add chopped bottle gourd add
turmeric powder mix it well and set aside.
Step 2: Heat oil in
a pan and add Bengal gram fry it till it gets golden brown transfer it into a
bowl and set aside.
Step 3 : In the same
pan add red chilli fry and set aside then add coriander seeds fry it till gets the
golden brown color keep aside in a bowl add onions fry till the aroma goes off
and change its color.
Step 4: Now take a mixer
add all fried ingredients and grind it well and prepare a thick paste. Transfer
the paste into a cleaned bowl and keep aside.
Step 5: Wash the bottle
gourd and drain the water completely add salt to the bottle gourd chunks.
Squeeze it with your hands to remove the excess water in bottle gourd chunks
now transfer it into bowl.
Step 6: Take a
vessel pour oil add mustard, cumin and few curry leaves fry it for 1 minute. And
add bottle gourd chunks cook it 5 minutes.
Step 7: Mix in
between for every 2, 3 minutes cover with a lid.
Step 8: Add prepared
paste mix very well and add salt as per taste cook it in medium heat and close with
a lid cook covered on medium heat.
Step 9: Finally add chopped
fresh coriander and add them 2 of water cook it till the oil separates out off
the curry and turn off the heat.
Step 10: Serve this
tasty delicious and spicy food recipe along with cooked rice or roti.
