Procedure to Prepare Yam with Gingili Seeds Curry Recipe:

Step 1: Firstly peel the yam and wash them very well and chop it into medium size pieces and place the chopped yam pieces into salt water and keep aside.

Step 2: Heat oil in a pan add green chili and fry it for few minutes till it gets light golden brown then transfer them into a plate and set aside in the same pan add Bengal gram and black gram fry it roast and set aside in the same pan add gingili seeds fry it roast and set aside in the same add cumin seeds and dry chili fry it for 5 seconds then switch off the flame and set aside.

Step 3 : Take a vessel pour water add yam pieces, add pinch of turmeric powder and add required quantity of salt as per taste and  boil it for about 20 minutes then drain the water and set aside and cool it.

Yam with Gingili Seeds Curry RecipeStep 4 : Take a mixer add fried green chilli, Bengal gram, black gram, gingili seeds, cumin seeds, dry chilli, and add tamarind pulp, add grated jaggery, boiled yam pieces and add required quantity of salt grind it very well and prepare thick and fine paste.

For Seasoning:

Step 5 : Take pan pour oil add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry chilli, few curry leaves and add slightly mashed garlic cloves fry it for about 1 minute and add prepared yam paste mix well everything together and cook it for about 1 minute after that switch off the flame.

Step 6: Try and serve this yam with gingili seeds curry recipe. Enjoy this recipe along with hot steamed rice or chapathi or pulkha or non.
