Procedure to Make
Lady Finger Pulusu or Okra Stew Curry Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly wash and chop the lady finger, onions, green chilli and tomatoes
into required sizes and set aside in a plate.
Step 2: Take a mixer add cumin seeds and garlic cloves grind it very
well and make
a thick paste then transfer the prepared paste into a bowl and set aside.
Step 3 : Take a vessel pour oil and heat it for few seconds once the oil become
lukewarm then add chopped onions and green chilli fry it very well till it gets
golden brown then add turmeric powder mix well and fry it low flame.
Step 4 : In the same pan add tomato pieces and chopped lady finger pieces fry it for
about 5 minutes then add required amount of salt as per taste and add cumin
seeds and garlic cloves paste, add coriander and red chili powder mix it very well everything together and fry
it for about 5 minutes.
Step 5 : In the same vessel pour water cook it for about 10 minutes till the lady
finger is soft and add tamarind pulp mix it very well and allow it to cook.
Step 6: Bring to a boil and reduce flame and cover the vessel with lid till the
gravy become thickens and you see specks of oil on the top then turn off the heat.
Step 7: Try and serve this tasty and
spicy lady finger pulusu or okra stew curry food recipe. Enjoy this recipe
taste along with hot steamed rice.
