Procedure to Prepare
Cashew Nuts Mysore Pak:
Step 1: Heat ghee in a vessel add cashew nuts in hot ghee fry them till it becomes
light brown color in medium heat then remove them to a plate set aside and once
it cool down take a mixer add fried cashew nut and grind it very well and make
fine powder.
Step 2: In the same vessel add Bengal gram flour fry till the aroma goes off and
change its color then remove that to a bowl set aside and cool down.
Step 3: Take another vessel pour water add sugar boil it on low heat for 10
minutes until sugar will melt when the syrup start boiling.
Step 4: Add cardamom powder and add fried Bengal gram flour little by little and
cashew nuts powder mix it very well there are no lumps in the mixture.
Step 5: Now add them ghee as per needed well cook approximately 15 minutes until thick
and gets a good aroma of fried gram flour.
Step 6: Grease ghee on a plate transferring the Mysore pak to the plate cool it for
2 minutes cut it into desired shapes set aside cool down for 30 minutes.
Step 7: Completely cool it before breaking the Mysore pak pieces.
Step 8: Store it in an airtight container to retain its freshness and crispiness.
