Procedure to Prepare Finger Millet
Idli or Ragula Idli Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly take
a bowl add finger millets or ragulu and soak it in water all over the night
take in to a another bowl soak the black gram overnight in the early morning drain
the excess water and wash it for one time.
Step 2: Now take a
mixer and add soaked and washed black gram and also add soaked finger millets
or ragulu and add required quantity of salt to it and grind it very well and
prepare to thick paste by adding little amount of water.
Step 3: Pour 2 glasses of water in steamer and heat over medium flame and grease
idli moulds with oil.
Step 4: Pour prepared finger millet batter in greased molds and steam it on medium
flame for 15 minutes after that switch off the flame.
Step 5: Insert a knife in the middle and check if it comes out clean then idles
or done
