Procedure to Prepare Green Gram Dosa with Upma or Upma Pesarattu Recipe:

Step 1: Firstly wash and chop the onion and green chilli into lengthy and set aside in a plate.

Step 2: Take a wok add semolina rava fry it in medium flame till it become roast and crisp then switch off the flame and transfer the roasted semolina rava into a plate and set aside.

Step 3: In the same wok pour oil add chopped onions and green chili fry it for 3 minutes till the raw aroma goes off.

Green Gram Dosa with Upma or Upma Pesarattu IngredientsStep 4: Now add grated ginger, add mustard seeds, black gram, Bengal gram and curry leaves mix it well and fry it for 5 minutes in medium heat.

Step 5: Now add them water and add required quantity of salt and stir it well and boil it for about 3 minutes then reduces the flame when the water comes to rolling boil. 

Step 6: Finally add roasted semolina rava stir it well continuously for avoid lumps formation and cook it for about 10 minutes in medium heat till mixture turns thick until rava upma is cooked remove it to a plate set aside.

Green Gram Dosa with Upma or Upma Pesarattu Step 7: Wash and soak green gram overnight in the early morning drain the water and wash it for one time and drain the excess water from it and set aside.

Step 8: Take a mixer add soaked green gram and add required amount of rock salt and grind it very well together and make a fine and thick paste by adding little amount of water to it and set aside.

Step 9: Heat a nonstick pan for 1 minute and rub it with a drop of oil now pour prepared green gram batter apply around shape pour oil around the green gram dosa and drop the chopped onion and green chilli on top of the dosa and fry it for both sides and drop the prepared umpa in the center of Green gram dosa.

Step 10: Dose edges starts browning and dose is cooked fold the Green gram dosa with upma and fry it for both sides for another 5 seconds then transfer the hot green gram dosa to a serving plate.
