Procedure to Prepare
Colacasia Pulusu or Taro Stew Curry Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly wash colacasia well and take a presser cooker pour some water in a
pressure cooker and add colacasia close the cooker pan with the cooker
lid and cook it for about 2 whistles then turn off the heat and leave it for
few minutes till the presser goes away then cool down and remove the peel from
colacasia or taro and set aside in a plate.
Step 2: Now wash and
chop the onion, green chillli and tomato into small pieces and set aside in a
plate
Step 3: Heat oil in
a vessel once the oil become warm then add chopped onions and green chilli fry
it in medium flame till it gets light golden brown.
Step 4: Add chopped
tomato pieces mix very well allow to cook.
Step 5: Now add
boiled colacasia, add red chili powder, coriander powder and add required
amount of salt as per taste and mix everything very well and fry it for about 3
minutes.
Step 6 : Add them
water mix well allow it to cook for 10
minutes after that add tamarind pulp and grated coriander stir it very well and
cook it on high flame till it comes to a boil.
Step 7: Reduce the
heat when it starts boiling and cook it till the oil separates from the stew
then switch off the flame.
Step 8: Try and
serve this spicy colacasia or taro tangy gravy food recipe along with steamed
plain rice.
