Directions to Prepare Perugu Avadalu or Curd Garelu Recipe:

Perugu Avadalu or Curd Garelu Recipe IngredientsStep 1: Take a bowl pore water soak the black gram overnight in the early morning drain the water from it and wash it for one time and set aside.

Step 2: Take a mixer and add soaked urad dal and add 1 cup water grind it very well and make a fine and thick paste then transfer the prepared paste into a bowl and keep aside.

Step 3: Now take a bowl and add prepared urad dal paste and add required amount of salt as per taste and blend it very well till the salt completely melts in the urad dal batter then keep it aside.

Step 4: Take a heavy bottomed vessel and pour oil for deep frying for 2 minutes in normal flame.

Perugu Avadalu or Curd Garelu RecipeStep 5: Take some batter and make it into the round shape gare by applying water to hand each time and make a hole in the centre of the gare, then drop the prepared gare into the hot oil fry it both sides till it gets golden color and it become crisp then drain the gare into the bowl and set aside do this for remaining batter.

Step 6 : Heat oil in a pan add turmeric powder, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry chili and add few curry leaves mix it very well together and fry it in medium heat.

Step 7: Take a bowl pour thick and fresh curd and add required quantity of salt whisk it very well for 6 to 8 minutes then drop the fried gare add fried ingredients to the curd mixture and stir it well and close the bowl with lid and leave it for about 3 hours until they are well absorbed the curd mixture.

Step 8: Try and enjoy the taste of this food recipe.
