Steps to Prepare
Masala Dosa Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly wash and chop the onion, green chilli and potato into very small
size and set aside.
Step 2: Wash and soak urad dal and rice overnight in the early morning drain the
water and wash it for one time and drain the excess water in it and set aside.
Step 3: Take a bowl
pour water add soya granules soak it for about 1 hour in water take another
bowl pour water add poha soak it for 1 hour in water and keep aside.
Step 4: Take a mixer
add soaked urad dal, rice and poha blend it very well together and make a thick
and smooth batter by adding little amount of water transfer the prepared batter
into a dry bowl and set aside.
Step 5: Take a large
bowl add prepared paste and add required quantity of salt mix them very well
till the salt completely melts in the batter and set aside for 1 hour.
Step 6: Heat oil in
a pan add chopped onions and green chili fry it very well till it turns into golden
brown then add coriander powder and cumin seeds powder mix it very well and fry
it for 1 minute in normal flame.
Step 7 : Now add chopped
potato pieces fry it well for 1 minute then add soaked soya granules and red
chilli powder mix it very well and fry
it till the raw aroma goes off till the curry is completely cooked then switch off the heat and transfer the
prepared curry into a bowl and set aside.
Step 8: Spread some
oil on a hot frying pan pour then pour prepared batter on the hot pan from the
edges towards the center
Step 9: Sprinkle
some oil from the top and spread the red chili and garlic paste on top of the
dosa.
Step 10: Dose edges
starts browning and dose is cooked then add 2 spoons of masala curry on top of
the dosa and fold the dosa fry it both sides another 5 seconds then transfer
the prepared dosa into a serving plate and follow this same way to remaining
dosas.
Step 11: Try and serve this south Indian masala dosa
recipe and enjoy the taste of the recipe along with tomato chutney.
