Directions to Prepare Cucumber Pickle
Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly wash
the cucumber well and wipe it with kitchen towel or absorbent paper and chop the
cucumber into half and discard the seeds from the cucumber an
d chop them into
small pieces and set aside.
Step 2: Heat pan and
dry fry the mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds in medium flame and fry it for about
2 minutes until color is changed then turn off the heat and remove them to a
plate and cool down.
Step 3: Take a mixer
and add fried mustard and fenugreek seeds grind them well and make a fine
powder then transfer the prepared powder into a bowl and keep aside.
Step 4: Now take a
large bowl add prepared mustard and fenugreek powder, red chili powder and salt
as per taste mix them well everything is mixed pickle masala is ready set aside.
Step 5 : Take a
another bowl pour oil add wiped cucumber pieces, garlic pods and drop pickle masala
powder to the pieces and mix them very well together and put it into the pickle
jar.
Step 6: Pour the required quantity off
oil into jar close the jar properly and leave the cucumber pickle for 3 days
and every day stir the pickle once or twice and set aside.
Step 7: Take the
pickle and if salt is less then add little salt mix well close the jar lid leave
pickle for 1 day after that ready to eat the cucumber pickle.
Step 8: Try and tasty
the south Indian cucumber pickle recipe along with hot cooked rice or curd
rice.
