Procedure to Make
Puri or Poori Recipe:
Step 1 : Take a large bowl add wheat flour, add required amount of salt to taste and
pour two tablespoons of oil mix it well and add water little by litt
le and
knead well to form a dough not too hard
or too softy.
Step 2: Divide the dough into small balls
Step 3: Using rolling board, roll into a small thick circle
Step 4: Heat oil in a wok for deep frying and check the temperature of oil by
dropping a pinch of dough should raise immediately on oil should not be smoking
hot.
Step 5: Drop the prepared puri and press it with the fry ladle skimmer spoon.
Step 6: It will puff up well flip the poori and cook the other side remove from
oil and drain it in a tissue paper in the same way deep fry the remaining poories
Directions to Prepare
Puri or Poori Curry:
Step 1: Firstly wash and chop the onion, green chilli and potato into small size and
set aside in a plate.
Step 2: Take bowl add Bengal gram flour pour water little by little mix well and prepare
smooth liquid paste.
Step 3: Take a vessel pour oil add chopped onion and green chili fry it for 5
minutes in medium flame.
Step 4: Add chopped potato, add pinch of turmeric powder and add required amount
of salt to taste mix well and fry it for 5 minutes till the potato become
cooked.
Step 5 : Pore the water and close the vessel with lid and boil it for 5 minutes add
the Bengal gram flour mixture to it and stir it very well continuously for
avoiding lumps formation and cook it for 5 minutes till gravy become thick and turn
off the heat.
Step 6: Try and serve this puri or poori recipe along with the prepared poori curry
you can enjoy the poori recipe taste along with potato masala curry.
