Coconut Chutney
Ingredients:
Coconut chutney ingredients
  • ·         Chopped Coconut pieces – 1 cup
  • ·         Green chili – 4
  • ·         Black gram – ½ tablespoon
  • ·         Bengal gram – ½ tablespoon
  • ·         Mustard seeds – ½ tablespoon
  • ·         Tamarind pulp – 4 tablespoons   
  • ·         Dry chili – 3
  • ·         Salt to taste  
  • ·         Chopped Curry leaves – 3 tablespoons
  • ·        Oil as required
Procedure to prepare coconut Chutney:
  • Step 1: Take a pan add oil and chopped green chillies fry it for 3 minutes.

  • Step 2: Now take a mixer add chopped coconut pieces, tamarind pulp, fried green chillies and salt. Grind it well and prepare thick paste.
  • Step 3: Take another pan for tempering add oil, Mustard, Black gram, Bengal gram, Curry leaves and Dry chilli fry it 3 minutes until it becomes crackle in medium flame now add it in the coconut paste and blend it well.
  • Step 4: Now serve this tasty coconut Chutney with idli or dosa.
