Directions to Prepare
Cabbage Balls Curry Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly wash the onions, tomato and green chili and chop them into medium
size set aside.
Step 2: Take a mixer add cashew nuts and poppy seeds grind them very well and make
a fine paste by adding small amount of water. Transfer the prepared paste into
a bow
l and set aside.
Step 3: Take a large bowl and add grated cabbage, Bengal gram flour, garam masala
powder, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, curd, pinch of baking soda and
add required amount of salt as per taste and mix them very well together and prepare thick paste then divide the
mixture into equal portions and make
round balls keep aside.
Step 4: Heat oil in a large vessel once the
oil is heated then drop the prepared balls into the hot oil and fry them well
till it gets golden brown then remove the fried balls into a plate and allow it
to cool
.
Step 5 : Take another pan and add chopped onions and green chili fry it for few
minutes till the onions become cooked then add tomato pieces and fry it for 5
minutes in medium heat after that all fired ingredients are remove to the plate
and cool down.
Step 6: Take a blender and add fried ingredients blend it very well and make thick
paste.
Step 7: Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf, add cashew nuts and poppy seeds paste fry
it till the raw aroma of the mixture goes off then add prepared fried
ingredients paste and add fried cabbage
balls mix well them together and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes then add grated coriander.
Step 8: Now pour the little amount of water then cover the pan with lid and cook
on a low flame for about 5 minutes until the gravy is formed then switch of the
flame.
