Procedure to Prepare Carissa Carandas Pickle Recipe:

Carissa Carandas Pickle IngredientsStep 1: Firstly wash the Carissa carandas and soak them in water for 5 minutes then drain the water and wipe the Carissa carandas with absorbent paper and slit the fruit in longitudinal halves and discard the from it seeds and set aside.

Step 2: Heat oil in a large pan add Carissa carandas pieces and fry it for about 15 minutes in medium heat then switch off the flame.

Step 3: Remove the fried Carissa carandas pieces into a bowl and cool down.

Step 4: Meanwhile take a vessel pour oil and heat oil for 4 to 5 minutes in medium flame then turn off the heat and cool the oil.

Step 5: Take a large clean and dry bowl add fried Carissa carandas pieces, add mustard powder, red chilli powder and Fenugreek powder mix it very well together with spoon.

Step 6: Now add required quantity of salt and pour lukewarm oil to the mixture and add slightly crushed garlic cloves and mix them very well and make fine pickle.

Step 7: Store this prepared Carissa carandas pickle mixture in a sterilized glass jar and preserve it in room temperature and don’t use wet spoons in pickle.

Step 8: Try and enjoy the taste of this recipe. Serve this spicy Carissa carandas pickle along with curd rice or steamed rice or idly or dosa.
