Coconut Milk Biryani

Coconut Milk Biryani IngredientsIngredients:

·         Grated Coconut – 4 cups
·         Bay leaf – 3
·         Clove – 4
·         Cardamom  – 3
·         Cinnamon stick – 1
·         Ginger garlic paste – 3 tablespoons
·         Onion – 1
·         Green chilli – 3
·         Rice – 2 cups
·         Coriander – 1/2 cup
·         Oil as required
·         Salt to taste
·         Water as needed.

Procedure to Prepare Coconut Milk:

Step 1: Now take a mixer and add grated coconut blend it well and prepare thick paste then add 4 cups water and blend it well.

Step 2: Now filter the coconut milk to separates the pulp and coconut milk.

Procedure to Prepare Coconut Milk Biryani:

Step 1: Firstly chop onion and green chilli lengthwise.

Coconut Milk Biryani Recipe Step 2: Take cooker pour oil and add bay leaf, clove, cardamom and cinnamon stick fry it for 1 minute.

Step 3: Add chopped onions, green chilli and add ginger garlic paste fry it for 5 minutes until the raw aroma goes off.     

Step 4: Now add 2 cups rice, 4 cups coconut milk, chopped coriander and salt as per taste mix it well and sauté it for about 1 minute.    

Step 5: Cover the cooker pan with cooker lid and cook it about 3 whistles then heat off.

Step 6: Keep it aside until the pressure goes off.

Step 7: Serve this tasty coconut biryani recipe with yogurt raita this is the best combination to serve this recipe.
