Procedure to prepare Ridge Gourd
Moong Dal Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly peel
the Ridge guard skin and chop in medium size. And soak the moong dal for about
30 minutes in water.
Step 2: Take a
cooking pan pour water; add moong dal, chopped ridge guard and green chilli
boil it for about 10 minutes in normal flame.
Step 3: Add milk
cook until the ridge gourd are almost cooked covered by a lid.
Step 4: Add tamarind
pulp sauté it for 5 minutes in medium flame.
Step 5: Take a
frying pan for seasoning pour oil; add cumin, Mustard, curry leaves, slightly
crushed garlic cloves, asafoetida and dry chilli fry it 1 minute in medium flame.
Step 6: Finally add boiled
ridge guard to the seasoning and salt as per taste mix very well cook it 5
minutes after that switch off the flame.
Step 7: Serve hot
ridge gourd and moong dal food recipe along with steamed rice or roti.
