Ingredients:
    Semoline Idly Ingredients
  • ·         Semolina rava  - 3 cups.
  • ·         Curd – 4 cups.
  • ·         Black gram – ½ tablespoon.
  • ·         Bengal gram – ½ tablespoon.
  • ·         Mustards – ½ tablespoon.
  • ·         Grated coconut – ½ cup.
  • ·         Grated Green chili – 2 tablespoons.
  • ·         Chopped Curry leaves – 3 tablespoons.
  • ·         Salt to taste.
  • ·         Water as required. 
  • ·         Oil as required.

Steps to Prepare Idly With Semolina:

Step 1: Take a bowl add 3 tablespoons of oil, semolina (rava), curd and salt as per taste mix it well and marinate this for about 1 hour.

Step 2 : Take a pan add oil, green chill,  mustard seeds, Bengal grams, black gram, curry leaves, and grated coconut fry it 5 minutes in medium flame.

Step 3: Turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate     

Step 4: Take a bowl add fried ingredients, semolina (rava) and water blend it properly keep batter aside 10 minutes.

Step 5: Pour 2 glasses water in steamer and heat over medium flame grease ldli moulds with oil

Step 6: Pour batter in greased moulds and steam it on medium flame for 15 minutes.

Step 7: After 15 minutes turn switch off the flame.

Step 8: Insert a knife in the middle and check if it comes out clean then idles are done.

Step 9: Now serve this delicious breakfast with coconut chutney or mango pickle.
