Procedure to Prepare Prawns with Red Sorrel Curry:

Prawns With Red Sorrel Curry Ingredients  Step 1: Firstly clean and wash the prawns and peel of the shells and remove the head and legs of them wash it again and drain the excess water and transfer them to a bowl add turmeric powder mix it together and set aside
.
Step 2: Chop the onions and green chilli in medium size set aside.

Step 3: Take a mixer add ginger, garlic cloves, coconut chunks and poppy seeds grind it very well and add some water and make smooth paste

Prawns With Red Sorrel Curry RecipeStep 4: Take a vessel add red sorrel pour some water boil it for about 15 minutes in medium flame till the red sorrel become cooked then set aside.

Step 5: Heat oil in a pan add prawns fry it for about 10 minutes and remove them to a plate set aside.

Step 6: In the same pan add chopped onions and green chili fry till it gets golden brown color.

Step 7: Add prepared paste mix it very well together and fry until the raw aroma of the ingredients goes off.

Step 8: Now add fried prawns, red chilli powder, garam masala and add required quantity of salt and mix it very well sauté it for about 5 minutes in medium flame.

Step 9: And add them some water mix it very well cook it for about 5 minutes or more till the gravy thickens and see the specks of oil on the top.

Step 10: After that add boiled red sorrel and chopped coriander mix it very well and allow to cooking till the curry becomes thick grave after that turn of the flame. Serve prawns and red sorrel curry food recipe along with hot steamed rice or fried rice or roti or paratha or chapathi.
