Raw Banana Curry


Ingredients:
    Raw Banana Curry Ingredients
  • ·         Chopped raw banana – 2 cups
  • ·         Tamarind pulp – 1/2 cup
  • ·         Chopped Garlic – 2 tablespoons
  • ·         Chopped Red chili – 4 tablespoons
  • ·         Bengal gram – 1 tablespoon
  • ·         Mustard seeds – 1/2  cup
  • ·         Chopped onions – 1/2  cup
  • ·         Chopped Curry leaves – 1/2  cup
  • ·         Chopped Coriander – 1/2  cup
  • ·         Oil as required
  • ·         Salt to taste
  • ·         Red chili powder – 2 tablespoons
  • ·         Water – 1 cup. 
Procedure to Prepare Raw Banana Curry Recipe:

Step 1:  Firstly take a bowl and add water and salt mix it well then add chopped raw banana pieces drain the water and keep it in a plate.

Step 2: Now take a pan add mustard fry it 3 minutes then take mixer add fried mustard and make it a powder.

Raw Banana Curry RecipeStep 3: Take a cooker and add chopped and cleaned raw banana, water and salt as per taste close the cooker pan with the cooker lid cook it for 2 whistles.

Step 4: Take a frying pan adds oil, chopped onions, chopped garlic, red chillies and few curry leaves then cook it for 3 minutes.

Step 5:  Add Bengal gram and cooked raw banana pieces cook it for 5 minutes and add Tamarind pulp, red chilli powder, salt as per taste cook it for 5 minutes in medium flame.

Step 6: Now add Mustard seeds powder cook it 5 minutes in medium flame.

Step 7: Add coriander and 1 cup water cook it in 10 minutes till the curry colored reddish and the oil separates out of the curry.

 Step 8: Try and serve this recipe with rice and roties.
