Masala Roti/ Paratha

Masala roti
Ingredients for Masala Roti:
Masala roti ingredients
  • ·        Chopped Methi leaves – 1 cup
  • ·        Wheat flour – 3 cups
  • ·        Salt to taste.
  • ·        Water as required
  • ·        Chopped Green chili – 2 tablespoons.
  • ·        Ginger paste – ¾ tablespoon
  • ·        Chopped coriander – ¼ cup.
  • ·        Ghee as needed.

Procedure to prepare Masala Roti:

  • Step1: Take a bowl add wheat flour, salt, ginger paste, methi leaves, coriander leaves and green chilies mix it well.
  • Step2: Pour some water in it and knead it into smooth soft dough and rest it for about 20 minutes.
  • Step3: Make the dough in equal lemon size balls
  • Step4: Roll out into round shapes using little wheat flour for dusting do this process until complete the dough.  
  • Step5: Heat the skillet and place the rolled roti on it. Let cook it for some minutes.
  • Step6: Flip the roti and spread some ghee. In two sides and cook it until the brown spots appears on the roti
  • Step7: Now serve this roti/ parathas with potato curry or paneer curry.
