Ingredients:
- · Chopped beetroot – 3 cups
- · Coriander seeds – 1 cup
- · Mustard seeds – ½ tablespoon
- · Red chili – 6
- · Black gram – ½ tablespoon
- · Bengal gram – ½ tablespoon
- · Salt to taste
- · Oil as required

Procedure to prepare beetroot pickle:
- Step 1: Firstly clean and peel the beetroot and chopped in medium size
- Step 2: Take a pan add 1 cup coriander seeds and add dry chilli fry it 3 minutes in medium flame without oil.
- Step 3: Take mixer add fried coriander seeds and red chillies mix it well and prepare powder
- Step 4: Take a frying pan add oil, chopped beetroot and salt cook it for about 20 minutes in medium flame
- Step 5: Now take a mixer add the prepared coriander powder and cooked beetroot pieces grind it well to prepare a thick paste
- Step 6: Take another pan add oil, ½ - tablespoon mustard , black gram, Bengal gram and cook it 3 minutes in medium flame and add the beetroot paste and blend it well.
- Step 7: Try and serve this healthy south Indian recipe.
