Beetroot Pickle

Beetroot recipes
Ingredients:
    Beetroot pickle ingredients
  • ·         Chopped beetroot – 3 cups
  • ·         Coriander seeds – 1 cup
  • ·         Mustard seeds – ½ tablespoon
  • ·         Red chili – 6
  • ·         Black gram – ½ tablespoon
  • ·         Bengal gram – ½ tablespoon
  • ·       Salt to taste
  • ·        Oil as required
Procedure to prepare beetroot pickle:
    Beetroot pickle
  • Step 1: Firstly clean and peel the beetroot and chopped in medium size
  • Step 2: Take a pan add 1 cup coriander seeds and add dry chilli fry it 3 minutes in medium flame without oil.
  • Step 3: Take mixer add fried coriander seeds and red chillies mix it well and prepare powder
  • Step 4: Take a frying pan add oil, chopped beetroot and salt cook it for about 20 minutes in medium flame
  • Step 5: Now take a mixer add the prepared coriander powder and cooked beetroot pieces grind it well to prepare a thick paste  
  • Step 6: Take another pan add oil,  ½ - tablespoon mustard , black gram, Bengal gram and cook it 3 minutes in medium flame and add the beetroot paste and blend it well.
  • Step 7: Try and serve this healthy south Indian recipe.
