Pani Puri / Golgappa

Ingredients for the Puri Preparation:

  • ·        All purpose flour / maida – 2 cups
  • ·         Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • ·         Semolina – 5 cups
  • ·         Salt – as per taste
  • ·         Baking soda – 1 tablespoon.
  • ·         Water – cup
  • ·         Oil – 3 cups (for deep fry)

Procedure to Make Puri:
  • Step1: Take a bowl and add maida, semolina and add wheat flour, salt and add ½ tablespoon of baking soda. Add water slowly to knead stiff dough.
  • Step2: Cover it with the clothe and rest it about 2 hours
  • Step3:  Now take a small piece of dough and rolled it like a puries.
  • Step4: Cut this puries in round shape with the help of any container lid.
  • Step5: Take a pan and heat the oil in medium flam for deep fry.
  • Step6: Add puries in oil and flip both sides of the puri until it gets golden brown then drain the puri in absorbent paper.
Ingredients for the pani preparation:

  •  ·       Chopped coriander leaves – 1 cup
  •  ·       Chopped mint leaves – 1 cup
  •  ·       Tamarind juice – 4 cups
  •  ·      Black salt – 1 tablespoon.
  •  ·      Salt to taste
  •  ·       Garam masala – 2 tablespoons
Procedure to make pani:
  • Step1: Take a pan and add tamarind juice, and add 1 cup of chopped coriander leaves and add mint leaves and add salt and black salt. And boil it in medium flam about 20 minutes.   
  • Step2: Now add garam masala powder and boil for 5 minutes.
  • Step3: After take this  pani in another bowl.
Ingredients to prepare chaat:
  • ·         Yellow peas – 2 cups
  • ·         Carrot (finely grated) – ½ cup
  • ·         Tomato chopped – ½ cup
  • ·         Potato – ½ cup
  • ·         Water – 4 cups.
  • ·         Chaat masala powder – 3 tablespoons
  • ·         Salt to taste.

  • Step1: Take a pan and add 4 cups of water boil in medium flam then add yellow peas, chopped potato, and finely grated carrot and add some salt then boil it about 25 minutes
  • Step2:  Now add chopped tomato again cook this in 10 minutes.
  • Step3: After that add chaat masala powder and serve this tasty chaat recipe.
