Procedure to Prepare Soya Chunks
Biryani:
Step 1: Firstly
clean and wash basmati rice and soak it for about 1 hour.
Step 2: Take a bowl
pour water add green peas soak it for about 1 hour.
Step 3: Take a mixer
add Cardamom, Clove and Cinnamon stick grind these ingredients very well and
prepare fine powder. Transfer powder
into a bowl and keep aside.
Step 4: Take another
bowl add boiled water and soya chunks soak it for about 30 minutes then squeeze
the soya chunks with your palms to drain the excess water in soya chunks and remove
them to a plate set aside.
Step 5: Now chop the
Carrot, Beans, Cauliflower, Green chilli and Onion in small size set aside. Meanwhile
take a bowl pour water and add soaked green peas boil it for about 30 minutes
in medium flame once it boiled drain the excess water in green peas then set
aside.
Step 6: Pour water and
boil it in medium flame and add salt, soaked rice and prepared powder into a
large saucepan with a tight fitting lid, stir once or just enough to separate
the rice cover the pot to simmer and cooked the rice.
Step 7: Now take a
vessel pour oil add chopped onion, Carrot, Beans, Cauliflower florets, Green
chilli, grated mint and add ginger garlic paste mix in between for every 2 to 3
minutes.
Step 8: After that
add curd, required quantity of salt, soaked soya chunks and boiled green peas
mix it very well together and cook it till the raw aroma goes off.
Step 9: Now add garam
masala powder mix very well and cook it for 15 minutes.
Step 10: Add the
boiled basmati rice mix well together then fry it for 10 minutes.
Step 11: Finally add chopped
coriander blend well cook it for again 5 minutes then heat off.
Step 12: Try and serve this soya chunks food
recipe along with onion raita.
