Procedure to
prepare Red Gram with Lemon Cucumber:
Step 2: Chop onion, green chilli and lemon cucumber in medium size.
Step 3: Take a pressure cooker pour water; add soaked red gram, lemon cucumber,
chopped onion and green chilli then close the cooker pan with the lid cook it
for about 5 whistles. Keep it aside till the steam goes off.
Step 4: Take another
pan add boiled red gram and lemon cucumber mash it with wooden spoon then add salt
as per taste cook it for about 15 minutes in medium flame.
Step 5: Now add
tamarind pulp and red chilli powder mix well and cook it for about 1 minute in
normal heat.
Step 6: Heat oil in
another non stick pan add mustard, cumin, slightly crushed garlic cloves, few curry
leaves and dry chillies fry it for 2 minutes then add boiled red gram mixture
and add chopped coriander mix it well and cook it for 5 minutes after that
switch off the flame.
Step 7: Transfer it into a bowl try and serve this red
gram with lemon cucumber food recipe along with cooked rice or idli or dosa.
