Semoline Kichadi

Semolina Kichadi


Ingredients:

Semoline Kichadi Ingredients·         Semolina – 3 cups.
·         Onion – 1.
·         Green chili – 3.
·         Green peas – 1/2 cup.
·         Cinnamon stick – 1.
·         Clove – 3.
·         Cashew nuts – 50 grams.  
·         Ghee – 3 tablespoons.  
·         Bay leaf – 1.
·         Cardamom – 3.
·         Coriander – 1/2 cup.
·         Salt to taste.
·         Oil as required.
·         Water as required.

Procedure to prepare Semolina Kichadi:

Step 1: Firstly chop the onions and green chilies in small size.

Semoline Kichadi RecipeStep 2: Take frying pan pour ghee and add cashew nuts fry till it gets the golden brown in medium flame and set it aside.

Step 3: Take the semolina in the same pan roast the semolina until it changes the color then heat off.    

Step 4: Take a pressure cooker add oil, clove, bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon stick, and add fried cashew nuts fry it 1 minute after that add chopped onions, and green chilies fry it 1 minute and add green peas  fry it 5 minutes in medium flame.

Step 5: Now add coriander, roast semolina rava and salt as required mix all ingredients well cook it 1 minute.

Step 6: Add 4 cups of water boil 2 minutes after that cover the cooker pan with the cooker lid cook it 2 whistles then switch off the flame.
