Procedure to Prepare Ridge Gourd
Pickle Recipe:
Step 1: Firstly wash
and peel off the ridge gourd and wipe them with cotton cloth and cut them into
small size set aside.
Step 2: Now take a
bowl add chopped ridge gourd pieces and add pinch off turmeric powder and
required amount of the salt mix them very well together and allow it for 30
minutes later squeeze the ridge gourd piece and add transfer the pieces into a
dry bowl and set aside
Step 5: Take another vessel pour required quantity of oil and heat in 1 second oil
is heated then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black gram, Bengal gram and dry
chili fry it medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 6 : In the same pan add prepared garlic paste mix very well together and fry
it medium heat then add red chili powder mix well cook it for 2 minutes then
turn off the heat set aside cool down
Step 7: Take a large
bowl add ridge gourd pieces, mustard seeds powder, fenugreek seeds powder and add
cooked tamarind pulp fried ingredients with along with lukewarm oil and mix them
very well together with spoon and transfer the prepared pickle into ceramic
pickle jar and close the jar with tight lid and leave it for 4 days later pickle
is ready to eat.
