Procedure to Prepare Fried Idly:
Step 1: Firstly wash
and soak the black gram all overnight in the early morning drain the water and
wash it for one time and drain the excess water from it and set aside.

Step 3: Take a mixer
and add soaked black gram and grind it very well by adding little amount of
water and make thick batter then transfer the prepared black gram batter into a
bowl and keep aside.
Step 4: Take a large
bowl add prepared black gram batter and add soaked idli rava and mix it well everything
together and add required amount of salt stir it well till the salt completely
melts in the batter.

Step 6: Cook it in medium flame for 15 minutes, After 15 minutes switch off the
flame.
Step 7: Insert a knife in the middle of the idli and check if it comes out clean
then Idlies or done
Step 8: Remove the
cooked idlies to a plate and cool it
Step 9: Take a taw heat
it for 1 minute then pour oil add cooked idlies and roast it for both sides till
the idli become roasted the transfer the roasted idlies into a plate and set
aside.
Step 10: Try and
serve this south Indian fried idli recipe along with coconut or tomato chutney.
