Procedure to prepare Colocasia Coconut
Curry / Taro Curry:
Step 1: Firstly take
a cooker pour water and add colocasia or taro close the cooker pan with the lid
cook it for about 3 whistles. Keep it aside till the pressure goes off.
Step 2: Take a mixer
and add ginger, grated coconut, garlic, cumin seeds and clove grind it well and
prepare a thick paste.
Step 3: Peel off the
boiled colocasia or taro set aside in a plate then chop the onion and green
chilli in medium size keep aside.
Step 4: Take a pan
pour oil; add peeled colocasia fry it till gets the golden
brown color then set aside.
Step 5: In the same pan add chopped onions and green chilli fry it 3 minutes add chopped
coriander and prepared paste fry it until the raw aroma of these ingredients
goes off.
Step 6: After that add fried colocasia, red chili powder and salt as per taste.
Step 7: Finally add water mix well cook it 10 minutes in medium flame.
Step 8: After that switch off the stove. Serve this recipe along with cooked rice.
