Procedure to Make Red Gram Rasam
Recipe:
Step 1 : Firstly take
a pressure cooker add red gram pour water close the cooker pan with the cooker
lid and cook it for about 5 whistles then switch off the flame and allow it to
cool once the presser goes off then remove the boiled red gram into a bowl and mash it with wooden spoon.
Step 2 : Take a
frying pan add 3 dry chillies, add one tablespoon red gram, add one tablespoon
of cumin seeds and add one tablespoon of coriander seeds fry it well in medium
flame till it gets golden brown then remove them to a plate and allow it to cool.
Step 4: Take a
vessel pour tamarind pulp and add mashed red gram, pour some water, add pinch
of sugar and add required quantity of salt mix well everything together and boil it for about 15 minutes till the rawness
of the tamarind disappears then turn of the heat.
Step 5 : Take a
frying pan pour oil add cumin seeds powder, add fenugreek seeds, black pepper,
curry leaves, slightly crushed garlic cloves and add coriander fry it for about
2 minutes then add this to the boiled red gram rasam and boil it for about 1
minute and turn off the heat.
Step 6: Try
and serve this tasty red gram rasam recipe. Enjoy this recipe taste along with
hot plain steamed rice.
