Vegetable-Biryani


Recipe Ingredients:

Basmati Rice – 2 cups
Green Chillies – 3 tablespoons. (Lengthy chopped)
Capsicum – ½ cup
Green peas – ½ cup
Carrot- ½ cup
Potato- ½ cup

Chopped Mint Leaves– ½ cup

Coriander leaves- ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste – 3 tablespoons
Curd   – 5 tablespoons (mix well)
Water – 4 cups
Biryani Masala Powder- 2 tablespoons.
Chopped Onions – ½ cup
Oil – ¼ cup
Salt-2 tablespoons
Clove – 5
Cinnamon – 1
Nutmeg powder – ¼ tablespoon.
Mace – 1
Wailong – 1
Star anise -1
Cardamom- 3
Bay leaf- 1
Shaw jeera - 1/2 table spoon.
Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon.
Procedure to cook Vegetarian Biryani
Step1: Take a cooker pan and add 6 tablespoons of oil.
Step2: Add Clove, Cinnamon, Nutmeg powder, Mace, Wailong, Star anise, Cardamom, Bay leaf and Shaw jeera and heat until they crackle.

Step3: Add chopped onions and fry it for one minute, then add Green Chillies, Capsicum, Green peas chopped Carrot and Potato. Fry this stuff in medium to high flam about 10 minutes.
Step4: Now Add Ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw aroma of ginger- garlic goes away.
Step5: Add chopped Mint leaves and coriander leaves, sauté 2 minutes.
Step6: Now add ½ Cup of curd blend well and add salt, and 2 tablespoons of biryani masala powder and also add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
Step7: After 1 minute adds 4 cups of water after that add soaked basmati rice and cook till very small amount of water is left.
Step8: Close the cooker pan with the cooker lid and cook on a low flam for one whistle. When the pressures off open the lid and serve the tasty veg Biryani
